The audit log is a record of important actions taken in TillBiz — who did what, and when. It’s your trail for investigating discrepancies and keeping the business accountable.
Audit logs are part of the Audit logs feature. If it’s not in your sidebar, your plan may not include it — see Subscription & licensing.

What’s recorded

Sensitive actions are logged with details such as:
  • Who performed the action (the user).
  • What changed — the record and its before/after values.
  • When it happened.
  • The action type (create, update, delete, refund, and so on).
Examples include cancelling a paid order, refunding a payment, adjusting stock, changing a price, or editing a user’s permissions.

Review the log

1

Open audit logs

Go to Settings → Audit logs.
2

Filter

Narrow by user, action type, or date to find what you’re looking for.
3

Inspect a change

Open an entry to see exactly what changed.
When a cash variance or stock discrepancy appears, the audit log is the fastest way to see what happened around that time.
