Why use categories
- Faster selling — cashiers find items quickly by category on the POS.
- Clearer reporting — see which types of products sell best, not just individual items.
Manage categories

Open Categories
Select Categories from the sidebar.

Add a category
Click New category, give it a name (e.g. “Drinks”, “Bakery”), and save.

Assign products
Set a product’s category when you create or edit it under
Products.
