# Signing in

> How to sign in to TillBiz with your email, password, or quick PIN.

You sign in to TillBiz at your business's web address — usually
`https://yourbusiness.tillbiz.com` — or through the desktop and mobile apps.

## First sign-in

When your owner or manager creates your account, you'll receive your sign-in
details. Sign in with your **email** and **password**.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open TillBiz">
    Go to your business address in a browser, or open the TillBiz desktop or
    mobile app.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your email and password">
    Use the credentials your manager gave you.
  </Step>

  <Step title="You're in">
    You'll land on the [dashboard](/guides/getting-started/dashboard-tour),
    showing the store you're assigned to.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Quick PIN sign-in

For busy tills, cashiers can switch users quickly with a **PIN** instead of
typing a full password every time. Ask your manager to set a PIN on your
account under [Users](/guides/settings/users).

<Tip>
  PIN sign-in is ideal when several cashiers share one terminal — each person taps
  in their PIN to take over the till without signing out completely.
</Tip>

## Sign in with Google

If your business has enabled it, you can sign in with your **Google account**
using the *Continue with Google* button.

## Staying signed in

TillBiz keeps you signed in securely and refreshes your session in the
background, so you won't be logged out mid-sale. For shared terminals, always
sign out (or switch users by PIN) at the end of your shift.

<Warning>
  Never share your password. If you think someone else knows it, change it
  immediately from your profile, or ask an admin to reset it.
</Warning>
