# Dashboard tour

> Find your way around TillBiz — the sidebar, store switcher, and main areas.

After signing in you land on the **dashboard**, your at-a-glance view of how the
business is doing today.

## The dashboard

The dashboard summarizes the current store's activity — today's sales, recent
orders, low-stock alerts, and quick links to common tasks. It updates in real
time as sales happen.

## The sidebar

Everything in TillBiz is reachable from the left sidebar. The main areas are:

| Area                      | What you'll do there                                                     |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **POS**                   | Ring up sales at the till                                                |
| **Orders**                | Review and manage past and pending orders                                |
| **Products / Categories** | Manage what you sell                                                     |
| **Inventory**             | Track and adjust stock                                                   |
| **Purchases / Suppliers** | Restock from suppliers                                                   |
| **Customers**             | Keep a customer directory                                                |
| **Invoices**              | Create and send invoices                                                 |
| **Expenses**              | Record money going out                                                   |
| **Reports**               | Sales, financial, staff, and inventory analytics                         |
| **Shifts / Cash drawer**  | Manage tills and cash                                                    |
| **Billing**               | View your plan and renew or upgrade                                      |
| **Support**               | Raise and track [support tickets](/guides/getting-started/getting-help)  |
| **Settings**              | Business profile, notifications, backup, license, integrations, and more |

  You'll only see the areas your [role](/guides/settings/roles-and-permissions)
  allows and the features your [plan](/guides/billing-addons/subscription-and-licensing)
  includes. A cashier's sidebar is shorter than an owner's.

## Switching stores

If your business has more than one store, use the **store switcher** at the top
to change which store you're working in. Stock, orders, and reports all reflect
the store you've selected.

## Your profile

Open your profile from the top corner to update your details, change your
password, or sign out.
